Nicole Scherzinger wants to marry boyfriend Lewis Hamilton and is considering freezing her eggs so they can have babies further down the line.
The 34-year-old 'X Factor' judge, who is seven years older than the British Formula 1 ace, insists that the couple are "a team and we're really there for each other," despite their recent rocky patch.
When asked if they are planning to get married, the former Pussycat Doll hints it will be soon.
"I'm not getting any younger. I don't want to have kids now, though," the Sun quoted her telling Marie Claire.
"Five years might be a good time to look at having children but whenever it's meant to happen is when it will happen. Right now, I'm focusing on my career," she said.
When pushed on whether 39 is too old to start a family, she said: "I see lots of women having beautiful children later in life. And, if not, just freeze your eggs!"
Freezing eggs has become popular with female celebrities who want to choose when to have a baby, but Scherzinger is adamant that when she has kids she will raise them in a traditional way.
"When I'm a mum, I'm not going to be one of those mums who has nannies," she said.
"Actually, I might have nannies – never say never – but I'm not having someone else raise my kids," she added.
