Katie Holmes may be saving her money now that now that she doesn't have Tom Cruise's 250M-dollar fortune to fall back on. An insider has told the New York Daily News that the actress is willing to do paid appearances. But she won't come cheap. A second source revealed "an appearance could be around six figures."
An insider close to Holmes' agency has confirmed that, "She was approached by Hilfiger for a Fashion Show appearance and she passed (and) she was approached by a liquor company and she passed."
The Holmes source also said companies see Holmes as more approachable since her split from Cruise, but she's not personally involved in any corporate courtships.
"Katie never did this before her split with Tom," the first insider said.
Popping into parties isn't the only way Holmes could pocket extra cash.
"Brands (want) Katie to wear their clothing for money, and then she'll get photographed in it," said first source, adding that at least one retailer already has Holmes in their duds.
Holmes reportedly receives 400,000 dollars a year in child support, along with expenses, for their 6-year-old daughter, Suri, until she turns 18.
It was announced Thursday the former "Dawson's Creek" actress will be the first celeb face of Bobbi Brown when the 2013 Spring campaign launches — a deal that will reportedly earn her between 2M dollars and 3M dollars.
